For example move the view over Disney World and ask When Was I There, a clear and concise list will then be displayed showing dates and times of your visit. It has also come in handy for finding out the last time I was at Chipotle.
In my experience the application uses very little battery power as it is not actively running the GPS. Data is stored on the SDCard and can be deleted if needed.
